I yelled at them so much that I've damaged my voice box permanently.
I've said many things in the fit of anger, and hurt them unintentionally in many ways.
One of them started crying every single day when she entered P1, and it went on for months.
I tried all sorts of different approaches, asked advice from everyone I knew, but nothing worked.
The other kids were frustrated too, "You are the MUM! Can't you do something? Make her stop! It's unbearable!"
I felt powerless and at a loss.
Why is parenting SO hard?!
I was exhausted. Physically, mentally, emotionally.
It was not at all what I had imagined parenting to be.
But then I discovered a new method, and everything changed.
With my sixth child, things were drastically different.
Despite her being a difficult toddler, the new method worked beautifully.
There was no more shouting or punishing.
She grew up well-behaved, independent, and even managed her schoolwork all on her own.
Using the new method, I started to fix my relationship with my teenagers and instead of cold wars and quarrels, we are now very close and they share their lives with me.
Parenting has become enjoyable, peaceful, and truly rewarding.
